​​​​Hello, I am Dana Bevan, The Transgender Scientist. I want to tell you about the science that helps us understand being transgender.  
About Me
I am a biopsychologst that specializes in transgender science and artificial intelligence. I received my BA at Dartmouth College and my PhD at Princeton University, both in psychology. 

As shown above, I have published 4 books on transgender science. (Click on the images above to find out where to obtain these books). I blog monthly at Tgforum.com.  I have a podcast at Apple, Stitcher and  Blogtalkradio.com and will soon have a videoblog on YouTube. They are branded as The Transgender Scientist
 
I live in Atlanta and am a member of the Ryan White Taskforce to eradicate HIV, TransDecatur support group and the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. 
 
 
I serve on the ​​USPATH Board of Directors. USPATH is the US chapter of WPATH that sets mental health and medical "Standards of Care" for transgender people. 
 
I have presented on scientific topics at numerous meetings including, IFGE, WPATH, USPATH, Gender Odessey, First Event, Southern Comfort, I/ITSEC, IAC Sensor Fusion,  and FASEB.

I am a veteran of the Vietnam Era and served as an officer in the US Army Medical Service Corps reserves for 11 years of which 3 were on active duty. 

For fun, I write fiction stories and comedy involving transgender characters.
